Game of Brands

I worked with the creative to reimagine HBO's Games of Thrones houses as modern branded corporations. We created this series of short funny TV commercials to bring the concept to life.

Shutterstock x Creative Mornings

To celebrate our recent partnership with Creative Mornings (a breakfast lecture series for design professionals) Shutterstock sought to create a series of posters called "Rebel Wisdom." The quotations  were curated from past famous Creative Mornings speakers.

The posters use Zach Higgins's custom  lettering and imagery he modified from the Shutterstock library to illustrate the spirit behind each quote.

Oscar POP!

When Oscar season rolled around last year, I helped concept the idea to reimagine the Best Film nominees as pop art posters. I worked with each of the Shutterstock designers to isolate a unique style to communicate a specific aspect of each film.

The post got so much pick-up, we produced it again this year with equally great results.

The Working Dead

We wanted to parody the Walking Dead television series by focusing on designers who become obsessed (almost zombie-like) about a certain design style.

It is not meant to belittle the designer but rather celebrate the design style through illustrations of zombie-like designers.

Power Couples

For Valentine's Day, I thought it would be fun to reimagine classic video game couples as Harlequin romance novels.

I worked with illustrator Echo Chernik who used Shutterstock images to make these composites and then she digitally painted over them.

The post got great global pick up including sites in Brazil, Japan and Germany.
