For televised live events, I created an overall branded aesthetic in order to unify previously inconsistent artist press photography.
For the Third Annual VIBE Awards televised on UPN, I designed key art drawing on inspiration from pop art and religious iconography and utilized a yearbook layout format - appropriate for the best recording artists in hip hop that year.
This key art was used across multiple channels: tv, print ads, outdoor and online.
VIBE Music Fest Campaign
For VIBE's first 2-day Music Festival, I created key art used in all outdoor advertising. I secured color photos of each artist, silhouetted them with a bright contour line and added dramatic shadows behind them, referencing comic book super heroes. I chose a bright summery palette for the June event.
